An upmarket apartment situated on the southern end of Durban’s beaches with views of the ocean and harbour entrance. The Oceanic

The Oceanic is situated within walking distance of Durban’s northern beaches and has luxury one, two and three-bedroom en-suite apartments housed within a secure high-rise complex. 37 apartments are available with onsite facilities that include a restaurant, bar, jacuzzi, sauna and games rooms. There is also a communal braai and pool area. All rooms have a full kitchenette with air-conditioning and DSTV. A childminding area is onsite and conference facilities can be hired out. Parade Hotel

An older style 2-star hotel built in the 1930s that has recently been revamped. The hotel has a limited-service policy that allows for highly competitive room rates and is therefore suitable for travellers on a limited budget. Complimentary English breakfasts are offered and most rooms have a view of the ocean with satellite TV. An electronic guest safe, bar fridge and kettle with tea and coffee is in each air-conditioned room. Internet facilities are available with a daily WiFi data cap of 200 MB.
